In 1985, after serving 6 years in the US Navy, John Wheeler took a position with a large commercial roofing company based out of Millington, NJ. Working his way up from laborer to roofing mechanic, he went on to become an estimator, project manager, and now owner of New Heights Roofing.

During his time as estimator/senior project manager, John sold and managed several multimillion-dollar projects. He also worked as the senior technical manager for GAF (roofing materials manufacturer) for 5 years.
